FINO's Leadership Through Learning (LTL) Program

Our core program consists of children's libraries, interactive and educational after-school activities, and high-school scholarships for rural children and youth. Leadership skills are taught implicitly through discussion, classroom rules and the example set by older students.

PROBLEM that we ADDRESS

"According to the Mexican Secretaria de Educacion Publica, almost 17 percent of Mexican children never enroll in primary school (about 6 million kids), 15 percent drop out of school at the end of the 4th grade, and 30 percent drop out by the end of the sixth grade. An astounding 62 percent of the eligible student population of 37 million in Mexico doesn't even reach high school."
